Rev. Dr. Kevin Carlin Kennedy has 26 years of pastoral experience at seven different parishes in the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. Fr. Kennedy also served as an Adjunct Professor at The Catholic University of America for 15 years where he taught graduate courses in leadership and organizational development. Among his many pastoral and administrative duties, he especially enjoyed working collaboratively with members in assessing community needs and strategic planning.
Prior to ordination, he worked in the financial industry (capital markets) for several years and then became the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of a medical research company in Maryland.
Fr. Kennedy received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Bernard Baruch College in New York with a major in finance. He also obtained a Master of Business Administration degree with a double major in finance and strategic management from the Krannert School at Purdue University. At The Catholic University of America, he received a Bachelor Degree in Sacred Theology and a Doctor of Ministry Degree.
Fr. Kennedy has served as a member of the Boards of Directors for five non-profit organizations including serving as treasurer for two of those organizations.
In addition to pastoral ministry, he enjoys training and fostering rescue dogs for adoption. He has traveled to more than 50 countries, enjoys biking and the visual and performing arts.
