Margi English has worked in both private sector and nonprofit organizations where she has raised over $50 million for human services, social justice, and education programs. She comes to Leadership Roundtable from Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, where she was Chief Development Officer.
Margi started her career in nonprofit fund development as Executive Director of Development and Communications for Santa Clara University’s Jesuit School of Theology. Margi went on to serve as Executive Director for the St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco which managed the largest single adult homeless shelter in Northern California. She was appointed by the San Francisco Commission on the Status of Women to the Equal Pay Advisory Board and served on the San Francisco Interfaith Essential Housing Task Force in partnership with the Mayor’s Office.
Margi is a graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders and received a B.S. degree in Organizational Behavior and Leadership from the University of San Francisco. She holds current CFRE, PHR and PMP certifications.
